We’re farmers, but that doesn’t mean our heads are in the ground.

Just as we need to tend our soil, weed our fields and water our crops, we also need to live up to our responsibilities as community members, business people and human beings. It’s a daily, ongoing process of listening, learning and taking action.

This summer, we are making a commitment to weekly donations supporting social justice causes, and we invite you to join us.

We started the farmers market season supporting the NAACP of Martha’s Vineyard, which had to cancel its annual fund-raiser due to Covid-19. You can donate at marthasvineyardnaacp.org or send a contribution to P.O. Box 1513, Oak Bluffs MA 02557.

If you have social justice non-profits you would like us to consider supporting at future markets, please email meg@morninggloryfarm.com with your suggestion and some information about the cause.
