Chef Robert grew up on a dairy farm, cooked farm-to-table meals at his own restaurant in Boston and moved to Martha’s Vineyard after the birth of his son Jack. On the Island, he first cooked at Zephyrus in Vineyard Haven, then with Jan Buhrman’s Kitchen Porch Catering before returning to his farm and food roots at Morning Glory in 2012. He oversees the active Morning Glory kitchen and also regularly cooks for the lunch program at the Chilmark School, which his son attends. He and his family live in Chilmark.
