The 2018 strawberry season is officially under way. We brought in a small harvest of ripe, red fruit on Monday and sold through by mid-afternoon. As the season progresses, this early trickle of berries will become a steady flow.

Our strawberries are available on a first-come-first-served basis—so as the harvest ramps up, your best chance to find them in stock is to come by the farmstand in the morning or early afternoon.

To help you enjoy this bounty of June, we’ve created a page of Our Favorite Strawberry Recipes, including classic Strawberry Shortcake and a fresh green smoothie made with both strawberries and asparagus (still available, but not for much longer).

And don’t forget to join us for the Morning Glory Farm Strawberry Festival, June 23 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission and most activities are free and all ages are welcome, rain or shine.

We hope to see you then!
