
Nestled on the beautiful island of Martha’s Vineyard, Morning Glory Farm has been a beacon of agricultural excellence for nearly five decades. Established in 1975 by James and Deborah Athearn, our farm has grown to encompass approximately 60 acres of lush vegetables and vibrant small fruits. Our commitment to sustainable farming, community engagement, and high-quality produce sets us apart as a treasured local institution.

We grow everything from artichokes to zucchini and cut flowers to beef. Nearly 20,000 lbs gleaned and donated to those in 2021.

Grown Crops
No GMO, and no Glyphospate (roundup) pledge. Most seeds are sourced from Organic farms. Sound holistic management farm-wide with over 25 acres enrolled in National Organic Program for certification January 2024.

Active in conservation and farmland preservation. We have over 250 acres of Vineyard Farmland under our care. The firm belief that we are temporary caretakers of these soils and we must deliver them to the next generation in good health.
