Mount Mansfield Maple Farm is nestled within the foothills of Vermont's Green Mountains near the base of Vermont's tallest peak, Mount Mansfield. They harvest maple sap from over one thousand acres of the most loved and well cared for maple trees in the world. They are stewards of these woods, and appreciate that without these magnificent trees that their livelihood could not exist. The farm includes beaver ponds and mountain streams, rolling pastures and thick brush, old growth forests and new, cliffs and hollows and a breathtaking views from the top of their sugar bush at 1,500 feet of elevation.

A small, family run fermenting company based out of Gloucester, MA. They make sauerkrauts, kimchi, and kombucha using traditional methods that maintain the integrity of the vitamins and minerals found in the fruits and produce they use. Hyper locally sourced ingredients from small North Shore, MA farms with organic growing practices. Fun fact, these folks used to barter sauerkraut for bread from our head baker back when she was selling her bread at farmers markets in Lowell!

Carlson Orchards was founded in 1936 by Walter and Eleanor Carlson. In the thirties and forties, they made their living from a diversified farm of chickens, cows, potatoes and apples. In the late sixties, the farm specialized in fruits with apples being the main crop. The Carlsons are dedicated to growing the best tree fruits, blueberries, raspberries, and pumpkins.
Carlson Orchards now grows fruit on 100 acres producing:
- 30,000 bushels of apples
- 5,000 baskets of peaches and nectarines
- 50 year old blueberry patch
- Raspberries
- Sweet cherries
Today Bruce, Frank and Robert Carlson, the three proud sons of Walter & Eleanor, are dedicated to maintaining their family’s fine reputation and the great tradition of high quality apple and apple products that was born over 83 years ago.

Founded in 1997, Mermaid Farm & Dairy is a 35 acre farm run by Allen Healy and Caitlin Jones and family. Mermaid Farm’s Jersey Cows produce milk with more fat content, yielding a distinctly natural and creamy product. While their lassis (yogurt-based drinks that come in three flavors) are a massive hit on the Island, the farm’s hard and soft cheeses are also showstoppers. Whether sampling the soft-ripened King’s Highway or the cave-aged Nobska, customers will be able to taste the glorious result of cows grazing happily in the lush setting of Chilmark.
